Text: Mark 8:34-38; 10:35-40
Summary: You and I must undergo a water baptism and keep repenting. We must ask regularly for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. If we are still alive when Jesus returns, unfortunately, we will also have to undergo the baptism of fire that is coming upon the world. Jesus adds one more “baptism” in Mark 10 — a baptism of suffering. When Jesus asks us to follow Him, it is an invitation to suffer with Him.
